A 30-year-old accountant from Dungargarh of Bikaner district had a tumour in the part of brain that controls speech which is why the doctors told him they’d conduct brain surgery under local anaesthesia to ensure that his speech would remain unaffected.During the surgery known as awake craniotomy,the patient was continuously asked to read, sing or recite verses.
